Atmar, Saudi envoy discuss war on terror, peace quest
AT-KABUL: National Security Adviser, Hanif Atmar met Wednesday with the new Saudi Arabian ambassador to Kabul, Jassim bin Mohammed al-Khalidi in his office, the Security Council said.
Atmar welcomed the ambassador to Afghanistan, and called his mission important in expanding bilateral relationships.
The Saudi ambassador promised to do his best in strengthening and expanding political and diplomatic ties with Afghanistan.
The two sides also discussed improvement of the Afghan laborers’ condition in Saudi, joint struggle against terrorism and the government-led peace process.
