KABUL: Afghanistan has recorded 38 new positive cases of coronavirus and four fatalities in the past 24 hours throughout the country, said the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Sunday.
With these new cases, Afghanistan now has 55,059 officially confirmed cases across the country.
1,648 suspected samples have been tested in the past 24 hours, in which 38 were reported positive. Another, 70 patients have fully recovered during the same period of time.
The total recoveries exceeded to 47,679 and the deaths to 2,404 across the country since the outbreak of the pandemic started around one year ago.
