KABUL: Afghanistan has recorded 42 new cases of coronavirus and one death in the last 24 hours across the country, the Ministry of Public Health said Wednesday.
The total tally since the outbreak of the epidemic has reached to 57,534 cases around the country.
The new cases were reported positive out of 1,518 suspected samples. Another nine patients have fully recovered during the same period of time.
The total recoveries have exceeded to 52,022 and the deaths to 2,533 across the country since the outbreak of the pandemic started one year ago.
