Covid-19 spiked with 911 cases, 20 deaths in two days

KABUL: The ministry of health reported 911 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 within past two days with the number of dead soaring up to 20 deaths.

Within this period of time, 261 patients were recovered.

According the ministry the cases were recorded in Kabul (122), Herat (6) Kandahar (87), Balkh (4), Nangarhar (45), Takhar (49), Baghlan (3), Kunduz (15), Paktia (12), Faryab (1), Helmand (19), Maidan Wardak (25), Badakhshan (9), Logar (23), Ghazni (11), Badghis (1), Kunar (4), Laghman (7), Panjshir (5), Uruzgan (5), Ghor (17), Khost (1), Farah (14), Paktika (13) and Jawjzan (7) provinces.  

The total number of cases surpasses 65,486. 55,790 people recovered from the outbreak of the virus while 2,792 others died.

This comes as the Afghan health officials earlier warned the people to behold the precautionary measures such as social distance and usage of mask. They also warned of the third wave of the virus that put many countries of the world into severe crisis.
