Crowd of militants killed in military offensives

AT-KABUL: The security forces have killed more than 38militants in the latest military offensives, leaving 33 more insurgents heavily injured across wartorn country.
The Afghan army along with the police forces and the help of NDS security personnel carried out joint operations against insurgents in different areas of Nangarhar, Ghazni, Logar, Uruzgan, Farah, Faryab, Baghlan, Takhar, Kunduz, Badakhshan and Helmand provinces, said the Ministry of Defense. These counterterrorism operations left 38 insurgents dead and 33 others wounded.
Afghan forces also arrested four rebels during operation and handed over them to judicial organs for further inquiry, added statement. Afghan National and Defense Security forces shelled and bombed the enemies’ positions and sanctuaries by artilleries and air forces.
During these operations in the past 24 hours,12 Taliban fighters were killed and 14 others wounded in Kohistan district of Badakhshan, eight insurgents were killed, six wounded and one arrested in Khwaja Ghar district of Takhar, seven militants were killed, eight wounded and two motorbike destroyed in Andar and Khogiani district of Ghazni, seven terrorist were killed in Kaftar Khana area of Uruzgan and two insurgents were killed in Pul-e-Alam center of Logar province.
Similar,one militant was killed and were three others wounded in Pul-e-Khomri center of Baghlan, two Taliban key member named Haji Najeeb and Shah Mohammad were arrested in Dasht-e-Archi district of Kunduz, one insurgent was killed and two others were injured in Nahr-e-Saraj district of Helmand and one militant was arrested in Karokh district of Herat province.
In past 24 hours,nineplaned clearing operations,and 88 Special Forcesoperations conducted in differentprovinces; also, Air forces conducted68aerial operations supporting Afghan National army including11strikes on enemy’s sanctuaries.
ANAdiscovered and confiscated weapons and ammunition in the operations as well. ANA as the nation’s defense forces are ready to give sacrifice to bring lasting peace and security to the people and are determined to eradicate terror groups in Afghanistan.
