DABS to install more transformers to end load-shedding

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: To address power load-shedding issue, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), is mulling to install additional electricity transformers in outskirts of Kabul.

Wahidullah Tawhidi told Azadi Radio that four transformers will be installed in Mirbacha Kot district and 12 others will be installed in Kohdaman area of Kabul province.

He said that installation of the transformers will reduce hours of load-shedding in Kabul city.

This comes at a time that the DABS recently issued load-shedding schedule for Kabul city. Based on the schedule, power supply will remain off from 5 pm to 9 pm and 5 am to 8 am in all parts of the capital city.
