KABUL: Afghan security forces discovered and busted two huge drug labs in eastern Nangarhar province, said officials.
Two big narcotic labs were busted and drugs set ablaze in Shinwar district of Nangarhar, said Governor Spokesman Attaullah Khogyani.
He said that 60 sacks of opium with some other materials discovered from the factory and torched.
No one has been arrested in this connection.
On the other hand works going on speedy over establishing check point and providing equipment to the pro-government militia in Wialai Chawk Bazar, Baroq, Golai Masjid and some other area in Shinwar district, he added.
Operations are also going on in the area to suppress insurgents and clear the district.
