KABUL: At least eight Daesh or so-called IS-K fighters have been arrested during a crackdown carried out by the Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province, official said Wednesday.
The arrestment made during a clearance operation of the
Afghan National Police (ANP) in Achin district of the province, Ministry of
Interior said in a statement.
According to the statement, ANP recovered eight AK-47 rifles, nine hand grenades and some amount of ammunition during operation.
