Five members of Khost family killed in airstrike
AT-KABUL: Civilians have been the worst victim of ongoing war in the past years and it’s looming as on Sunday five members of a single family were killed in an operation conducted by Afghan Special Forces in southeastern Khost province, official said.
The Special Forces raided a civilian house in Pahlawankhel area of Bak district Saturday night, the governor’s spokesman, Talib Mangal said, conforming killing of a number of people.
To have a clear picture, and to get a translucent view of the operation, a delegation has been assigned to probe the killings. “The delegation will be lead by deputy governor,” the spokesman said.
More information would be shared once the delegation done with it, Mangal said.
Violent across the country is taking high tool on civilians. In several deadly incidents, it is the civilians who suffered most.
