Five terror suspects arrested in Kandahar

AT-KABUL: National Directorate of Security (NDS) of Kandahar province arrested five terror suspects.

A media statement from Kandahar Media and Information Center (KMIC) said that the alleged militants had links with the terror group of Allah Dad Akhundzada and were involved in terror activities in Helmand, Sar-e-Pul and Faryab province.

The statement added that the arrested men had received five months military training in Pakistan and wanted to sneak into Sar-e-Pul province through Kandahar. The arrested persons have confessed their crimes.
