France and Tajikistan presidents discusses Afghanistan


Kabul: The press office of the President of Tajikistan published a statement on Saturday November 26, saying that the President of this country had a conversation with the President of France about Afghanistan.

It is said that this telephone conversation was conducted at the request of the French President.

According to the announcement of the press office of the president of Tajikistan, the issues of Afghanistan have been the focus of the two presidents’ discussions.

It has been said that the presidents of these two countries have named peace and stability in Afghanistan as one of the basic conditions of security in the region and emphasized on joint cooperation in Afghanistan affairs.

It is also stated in the announcement that the two sides discussed military, political and economic cooperation as well.

The leaders of the two countries have also emphasized on joint cooperation against extremism and combating the threats of drug trafficking.
