AT-KABUL: The Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahuddin Rabbani met with the Head of Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung Office Syria/Iraq, Mr. Nils Wörmer, the foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

At the outset, Mr. Wörmer while hinting at the importance of Afghanistan in the foreign policy of agenda of Germany deemed the considerable military and civil presence of Germany in Afghanistan as a commitment to continued support of Germany to Afghanistan and besides counting the contribution of the effective institutions in the formation of the friend counties’ political viewpoints and decisions regarding Afghanistan assured the continuation of Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung presence and activities in Afghanistan, the statement added

Later on, Rabbani referred to Germany as an important supporter and partner of Afghanistan and besides appreciating the valuable cooperation of Germany in various areas with Afghanistan counted the KAS projects and programs in Afghanistan as beneficial and admirable.

Both sides discussed and talked on Afghanistan’s political priorities including the upcoming elections.
