Gunmen shot dead Imam in Kapisa

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Unknown gunmen shot dead an Imam (prayer leader) of a mosque in Kapisa province, said a local official.

Muhammad Azim Kohistani, the police of chief of Second Part of Kohestan district of Kapisa, told Bokhdi News that the Imam was on his way from mosque to home when a group of gunmen attacked him the other night.

He said that no one has been arrested in connection with the incident. He said that police have conducted an investigation to find the culprits.

The incident comes just two days after a group of unidentified gunmen gunned down principal of a school in Bagram district of Parwan province.
