Haqqani-linked terrorists arrested in Khost

AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Wednesday said that two terrorists having links with the Haqqani terrorist network were arrested in the eastern Khost province.

In a press statement, the NDS said that arrested two terrorists (suicide bomber and organizer) while they planning to carry out suicide attack in the province on the Eid days.

“The terrorists were identified as Ajaz-ul-Haq and Nasratullah,” the statement added.

Also the intelligence operatives detained three armed thieves in the province in a separate operation.

The detained insurgents were identified as Nazar Khan, Mohammad Akram, Akramullah, the statement said.

It added by wearing military uniforms and using fake id cards of former member of Wolesi Jirga Trying to steal the property of citizens in Gardiz district of province,.

Statement said that two AK-47 rifles with some ammunition were seized from captured rebels.
