Heavy rainfall forecasted in 7 provinces of Afghanistan

Kabul: The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has warned that the seven provinces of the country will be hit with heavy rains and snowfalls, flash floods, and momentary strong winds.

The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has announced that the provinces of Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan, Panjshir, Nuristan and Kunar will experience heavy rains and heavy snowfall.

According to this directorate, the amount of rainfall expected on 26-27 is from 10 to 50 mm.

The Afghanistan Meteorological Department also added that the provinces of Balkh, Herat, Ghor, Farah, Nimroz, Helmand and Ghazni will witness momentary strong winds with dust, and its speed is expected to be between 20 and 70 kilometers per hour in different places.
