Afghan government has strongly condemned the latest attack in Kabul city that left eight people killed and 31 wounded.
Statements issued by Presidential Palace and office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) state that the attack was carried out by the enemies of Afghanistan who don’t want Afghans live in peace.
NATO’s Resolute Support (RS) has also strongly condemns the suicide bombing in a statement.
RS has expressed its condolences to the families of those killed and wounded in the attack.
Pakistan that is blamed for running a proxy war in Afghanistan has also condemned the attack.
A statement issued by the foreign ministry of Pakistan has termed the attack “a brutal act”
The suicide attack which took place Wednesday afternoon in the second police district of Kabul city which left eight civilians killed and 31 injured.
The suicide attacker who was driving a corolla vehicle carried out explosion during a busy hour in Muradkhane area of Kabul city where government officials were leaving office to go home at around 04:30PM yesterday.
Police headquarters of second police district, Presidential Palace, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Finance and other offices are located close to the blast site.
Sediq Sediqi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said that all of the victims of the explosion are civilians except one police man among the ones wounded.
No group including Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack. (KP)
