Karzai calls Kunduz airstrike an “inhumane act”

AT News Report-KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai, strongly condemned the US airstrike against civilians in the northern province of Kunduz, calling that an “inhumane act”.

The US war jets bombarded a group of civilians Friday night in the Char Dara district, which reportedly killed and injured more than 10.

“Karzai expresses concerns on targeting houses and villages with the pretext of fighting terrorists,” Karzai’s office said in a statement, adding that the former president was strongly against such attacks.

He wished paradise for the dead, patience for their dear ones and quick recovery for the wounded.
