Kabul: Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, condemned the terrorist attack on Ashura mourners in the 6th district of Kabul, which resulted in the martyrdom and injuries of many Afghans.

He considered the country’s salvation from the conspiracy of foreigners to be in unity of Afghans and emphasized on strengthening the national unity spirit and brotherhood of the Afghan people as much as possible.

In another event, Richard Bennett, the UN Special Reporter on Human Rights for Afghanistan, has also sympathized with the victims of yesterday’s explosion in Kabul.

Calling this attack “terrible”, Mr. Bennett said on his Twitter that protecting the lives of all Afghans is the responsibility of the Islamic Emirate.
