Karzai condemns attack on mosque in Kabul

KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned the blast occurred at Siddiquiya mosque in PD 17 of capital Kabul, which occurred during the evening prayer.

As a result of this explosion including the imam of the mosque martyred and injured number of worshipers.

Karzai called the blast an inhuman act by the enemies of the people of Afghanistan and said that this is in contradiction with all human and Islamic values.

While expressing his condolences and sympathies with the families of the victims of this tragic event, the former president prays for the martyrs to be blessed, patience for their survivors, and speedy recovery for the injured.
