Karzai, Ghani offer Fateha for Angiza Shinwari

AT-KABUL: Ex-President Hamid Karzai offered Fateha for the departed soul of Angiza Shinwari, a provincial council member of eastern Nangarhar province, here in Kabul on Sunday.

Angiza Shinwari who was also a rights activist was seriously wounded, when a bomb attached to his car went off. She succumbed to her injuries in a hospital in Kabul last week.

Hamid Karzai extended his heartfelt condolences to family and friends of late Shinwari. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.

President Ashraf Ghani also offered Fateha for the deceased soul in Eidgah Mosque in Kabul. The president extended his condolences to the bereaved family as well as people of Nangarhar
