Karzai Meet with EU Envoy in Afghanistan

KABUL: The former President, Hamid Karzai with the European Union’s envoy in Kabul and discussed the current situation in Afghanistan.

Karzai’s Office said in a statement that the Former President “thanked European Union’s assistance” to Afghanistan and called for further support of the EU to the people of Afghanistan.

The former President in an earlier statement thanked the US for allowing a new license that ease sanctions on Afghan financial affairs.
