KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai met chairman of reconciliation council Abdullah Abdullah on Tuesday, talking about the council’s efforts on peace and the recent developments.

Abdullah’s office said that the two sides emphasized on reduction of violence, urging that all points of peace should be concentrated on this.

The meeting welcomed recent developments on peace, saying that the government negotiating team should agree on the people’s wills and begin the main talks with Taliban as soon as possible.
