KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai met with the members of the Afghan Saffron Union in Kabul.

The office of the former president said that the members of the saffron union shared their concerns over the problems exist ahead of the saffron products and business in the country.

Karzai praised the members of the saffron union for offering efforts to facilitate saffron products in the country.

The individuals who work to produce saffron are our honors and “the Afghan saffron is the top in the world and it is due to your efforts and attempts,” Karzai was quoted in the statement.

The former president vowed to provide any possible assistance to the members of the Afghan saffron union.
