AT-KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai offered his “deep” sorrows over the death of a prominent Pashto poet and literarian, Umar Daraz Marwat.

“I honor his decades of spirited contribution to publication and literary works. May Allah grant him Jannat-ul-Ferdous (paradise),” the former president said.
