KABUL: A large number of people staged demonstration Monday in Logar province to protest the Independent Election Commission for what they called “counting black and white ballots to use in benefit of certain candidates”.

The protestors said ballots came from the areas where election was not held at all.

Officials in the commission rejected the allegations, saying that a transparent election was held in Logar.
