AT-KABUL: The Cultural Advisor to the ex-President Hamid Karzai, Zalmai Hewadmal, and the Advisor to the Ministry of Higher Education, Muhammad Qasem Jamdar, called on the acting Chancellor of Nangarhar University, Muhammad Tahir Inayat, at his office the other day.
Inayat briefed the two guests about the gains the university has made in academic field. The guests hailed the achievements. Hewadmal thanked the Chancellor for improving the physical structure of the university in a little time. He said that the university has also made tangible achievements in the academic field.
Inayat conferred the Medal of Nangarhar University on Zalmai Hewadmal for his indefatigable efforts in the construction of the building for the Literature Faculty as well as the establishment of the Department of Hindi Language. He also bestowed the Medal of Nangarhar University on Muhamad Qasem Jamdar.
The Deputy Chancellor, Delaqa Waqar and staffers of the university were also present on the occasion.
