NDS destroys Taliban terrorist network in Nangarhar

AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel on Wednesday busted Taliban-linked terrorist network in eastern Nangarhar province, NDS said in a media statement.

The NDS operatives captured a group of four Taliban militants and busted their terrorist network in an operation carried in Ghani Khil district of the province, the statement said.

The captured insurgents identified as Ibrahim, Taj Wali Niazi and Mir Abdul Samad, who were involved in different subversive activities in the province.

One suicide vest, one AK 47, one pistol, and three grenade bombes with some other ammunition discovered and confiscated from the possession of the insurgents, the statement added.

In a separate operation, spy agency operatives arrested two Tajik citizens, willing to join Daesh fighters in BatiKot district of the same province, it added.
