KABUL: Massoud Andarabi, the newly appointed caretaker for interior ministry orders police forces not to leave terrorists alive and kill them in the battlefields.
He issued the order on Tuesday through a video conference with the provincial police chiefs.
The azadradio has quoted an official in the ministry who did not want to be named that peace efforts is the work of politicians, adding that security forces needed to change their defensive position to offensive for enhancing political power.
Andarabi has also told the provincial police chiefs to beat terrorists by an iron fist.
Interior Ministry has not yet officially commented in this regard.
The caretaker minister has not clarify terrorists, but government officials usually use the term as a reference to Taliban insurgents and Daesh terrorist group.
