NPC approves Afs1bn in technology, medical contracts
AT-KABUL: The President-led National Procurement Commission has approved four contracts worth a sum of Afs 1 billion, which will be funneled in technology and medical sectors.
After assessing a total of nine projects, the NPC under the chairmanship of President Ghani approved four projects amounting to Afs 1 billion, said a presidential palace statement, which will include protection and maintenance of VSAT satellites to control air space,optical fiber cable connection with a capacity of 16STM in Aqina and Torghondi ports crossing Turkmenistan, registration of private and government domains with suffix of (.af) for three years and 50 percent contract of procurement of tuberculoses medicine and the package of diagnostic of national tuberculoses program.
The NPC also approved a project to start procurement process for Ghazni provincial hospital by housing enterprises.
Additionally, the commission approved the extension of electricity line application of Gulbahar-Panjshir and the substation of Panjshir and the establishing of hydropower station of Pozalich of Ghor province.
