Pakistani rockets kill a child in Kunar

KABUL: A child was killed and four other members of the family were wounded in rocket attacks fired by the Pakistani military. The rocket landed in a residential house in eastern Kunar province, killing the child, officials said on Monday.

Provincial Governor Spokesman, Ghani Musamem said that 16 rockets were fired by the Pakistan border forces on Marwa district in the province.

Earlier, Pakistani forces targeted some parts of provincial capital and Sarkano district of Kunar. According to the officials, at least eight people were killed and several others wounded in the attacks.

The Afghanistan National Security Advisor, Hamdullah Mohib in a visit to Kunar said then that these attacks would face serious reactions by Afghan side.
