Police recovers 325kg hashish from ANA vehicle in Nangarhar

KABUL: Police have recovered 325 kilograms of hashish from a vehicle of Afghan National Army (ANA) in eastern Nangarhar province. Four people wearing ANA uniforms have been arrested in connection with the drugs, said Nangarhar police spokesman.

Hazrat Husain Mashriqiwal told a press conference that a vehicle of ANA carrying 325 kilograms of hashish from northern Baghlan province was stopped by police in Samar Khel area of Behsud district. He said that it was not clear if the arrested men are security personnel.

He said that the arrested men were equipped with weapons.
