Power Pylons to be temporarily fixed as Kabul remains in dark

KABUL: Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat is working on repairmen of the damaged power pylon that was blown up in Qarabagh district of capital Kabul, officials said on Wednesday.

Khushal Safi, an official of Da Breshna Sherkat said that efforts were underway to reconnect the power lines for a temporary term.

Da Afghanistan BreshnaSherkat in a statement said that a power pylon transmitting 220 k volts electricity was blown up on Tuesday night in Qarabagh. The destruction of power pylons left Kabul and several provinces in dark.

Kabul and many other provinces have recently struggled with lack of electricity as the pylons destroyed with bombs in several provinces in the country.
