Russia donated emergency kits’ shipment arrived Afghanistan

KABUL: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Tuesday said that Russia donated emergency kits’ shipment arrived to the country today.

This kits’ shipment was handed over to the World Health Organization (WHO) earlier, which reached the country today, said MoPH.

According to a statement in a joint conference with the presence of representatives of Russia Embassy to Afghanistan and WHO, the Deputy of MoPH Mohammad Shafiq Mirzad expressed pleasure over the donation by Russia and cooperation of the WHO in this aspect.

He termed the donation vital for the people of Afghanistan in the current situation.

He pledged to distribute the kits in balance, adding that the health ministry leadership is committed to distribute the kits through a transparent procedure to those entire centers, which need it.

This shipment included 39 tons of emergency kits, which could be used by one million persons in three months.
