Russian ambassador informs Karzai of Moscow meeting

AT News Report-KABUL: Alexander Mantytskiy, ambassador of Russian Federation to Kabul in a meeting with former president Hamid Karzai, informed him of the recent meeting held in Moscow on Afghanistan.

The meeting participated by delegates from Iran, India, Pakistan and Russia, discussed ways to bring peace to Afghanistan.

“Karzai appreciated Russia for its initiatives regarding peace and stability in Afghanistan,” his office said Saturday in a statement.

He said that Afghan problems solution is an Afghan matter, calling war and weapon use for the loss of Afghans.

Karzai expressed hope that Moscow continue efforts in bringing peace to Afghanistan.
