AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Wednesday said that a suicide bomber was shot dead by its operatives in southern Kandahar province.
A statement issued by the NDS, said that the operatives managed to gun down the suicide bomber in the PD 5 near the provincial police office.
The bomber planned to detonate his explosives near the police office, but was identified and gunned down by the intelligence operatives before reaching the target, the statement added.
By killing of suicide attacker NDS operatives succeeded to prevent a bloody incident.
