Senators concerned over insecurity, civilian casualties

AT-KABUL: The members of senate are concerned over the intensifying insecurity and increase in civilian casualties.

They emphasized at their Tuesday session on calling the Loya Jirga to end the current crisis.

They said that the security, political and economic situations were going towards crisis day by day, accusing the government of weak to manage the condition.

They called Loya Jirga as the only way to find solution for the crisis through an interim administration.

The senators blamed government for signing security pact with the US, saying the pact helped more insecurity across the country.

The members of senate said that foreigners’ presence had worsened the situation and the bilateral security should be canceled.

Head of the Senate also criticized the security pact with the US, saying it worsened the situation in the country, and new terrorist groups such as Daesh had emerged in Afghanistan.
