Slain Russian diplomats in Kabul awarded Badges of Courage

Kabul: The Russian Embassy in Kabul has announced the awarding of the “Courage badge” to two employees of the embassy who were killed in an explosion 10 days ago.

These two diplomats were Mikhail Shah, the second secretary of the Russian Embassy in Afghanistan, and Adigzhi Kozhuget, an expert of this embassy.

The Russian Embassy in Kabul announced today that these two diplomats received the “Courage Badge” based on the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin “considering their bravery and dedication in the performance of duty”.

On the September 5, there was an explosion in front of the Russian embassy in Dar al-Aman area of ​​Kabul, and ISIS claimed responsibility for it.

In this explosion, four Afghan citizens and two Russian diplomats were killed and more than 10 others were injured.

After this explosion, the consular services of the Russian Embassy were stopped.
