Some 200 displaced families receive cash aids in Baghlan, Ghor

KABUL: Around 200 internal displaced families received cash donations provided by an international relief agency in northern Baghlan and western Ghor provinces, officials said Monday.

The Provincial Directorate of Refugees and Repatriates in Ghor province granted cash aids to 98 internal displaced families, said a statement issued by the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates (MoRR).

The statement said that each family was provided by 29,000 Afs by the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) organization.

Separately, the ACTED donated similar aids to 86 displaced families Baghlan province.

Following a survey, each family received 15,400 Afs from the ACTED organization.

The people received donation, are those families who have fled their homes due the ongoing armed clashes and insecurity issues, the statement mentioned.
