Strategic alliance for national freedom and elimination of fundamentalism: An inevitable historical need of the oppressed nations chained in Pakistan

By Shafi Muhammad Burfat-Its historical need of the oppressed nations chained in Pakistan’s forced annexation (slavery of Punjabi imperialism) to form a single strategic alliance for their freedom and extermination of fundamentalism from the region. This was, too, needed earlier at the time of the elections of 1970, when Bengalis were contesting to end Punjabi dominancy; if Sindhi, Baloch, Pashtun and Saraiki nations were united to support Bengalis at that time to get their democratic national rights and independence, Punjab could not have obtained its supremacy as “Greater Punjabi State” in the name of Pakistan. But mass misleading propaganda of Punjabi establishment pushed the political future of oppressed nations in the darkness by rejecting the rightful mandate of Shaikh Mujib-ur-Rehman (Leader of Awami League: Bengali nationalist party) and killing three million innocent Bengalis, raping 1m women, putting the pro-freedom leaders of other oppressed nations i.e. G.M Syed, Nawab Khair Bux Khan Marri, Mir Ghaus Bux Bizenjo, Sardar Attaullah Mengal, under house arrests and imprisonments while Khan Abdul Ghafar Khan exiled, passing the extremely unjust constitution of 1973 through a truncated assembly (representing the vested interests of bourgeois and Punjabi imperialism)  that had no mandate to formulate a constitution after the majority mandate had been separated by the separation of Bangladesh from rest of the federation. Thus the Punjabi political dominancy was given a legal privilege through allocating extra mandate over other three nations in the constitution of 1973 to enslave and govern the remaining parts of Pakistan. In order to occupy the lands of the oppressed nations this unjust constitution, too privileged the wealthier with the right to buy and sell the property in any of the states chained in the federation which let the wealthier nation of the Punjabis and specially the military officers to harass and take the lands of poor and commons of Sindh and Balochistan. This too enabled the outsiders/aliens to migrate in vast numbers to the less populated states and occupying the economic resources and cities of the oppressed nations and this was a pure conspiracy to convert these nations into ethnic minorities.

After the end of the cold war, the international politico-economical war front has been shifted to another economic point. The study of Dialectics tells us that things, reaching their extreme points, convert into their opposites e.g. in the course of millions of years the north and the South Pole had been repeatedly converted into their opposite sides. In the same way, yesterday’s western Europe and USA backing the conservative war of fundamentalist religious extremist forces against the history’s progressive force Soviet Union, had become a negative force of the history has now been converted into the progressive and positive force due to the shift of the axis of economic interests. History is waging war against the conservative, undemocratic monarchies, aristocracies and religious extremist, fundamentalist, terrorist forces today. Human history tells us that whenever historical forces disqualify to accomplish the intension of the history, the history deprives them of the right to progressiveness and throws them in the hell of the conservatism and backwardness. In the same way today’s Russia, China and their allied forces i.e. N. Korea and Pakistan, leading the conservative negative forces of the history, are fighting the war of the survival of the retrogressive conservative undemocratic monarchies and aristocracies and on the other hand USA, NATO and their allies are consciously or unconsciously safeguarding and accomplishing the present day progressive interests and needs of the history of modern capitalism. The international political scenario tells us that the world is explicitly aligned in two distinct blocs, one of the conservative fundamentalist forces and other of the modern capitalist progressive forces represented by NATO and US. Our region, the South Asia, has become the battle field for both of the retrogressive and progressive economic forces. Imperialist China, partnering the Punjabi imperialism, to accomplish its obsessive plan of permanent occupation over the lands, seas and other resources of the oppressed nations and to approach and control the Central Asian markets, is constructing the deadly Economic Corridor starting from Chinese occupied Xinjiang region and running through the Pakistani occupied territories of Pashtun, Saraiki, Sindhi nations and ending up to the Gwadar Port of the occupied Baloch nation, is obviously to be built upon the mass genocide and bloodshed of these oppressed nations. On the other side, to accomplish its impure plans, The Punjabi imperialism has become the nursery of the religious fundamentalist terrorist Al-Qaida and Taliban forces, intended to be used to butcher the people of the oppressed nations that are resisting their (Punjab’s) nefarious exploitative imperial designs, in near future; just like the cold blooded Al-Shams and Al-Badar terrorists were used in East Pakistan in 1971. It (Greater Punjabi state of Pakistan) has become the world’s top most nuclear programming state. Recovering Osama bin Laden from Pakistan’s top garrison discloses the truth that it’s an ideological Island, spiritual Sultanate and womb of the International Islamic terrorism. Which, in accomplishment of its imperial designs, intends to launch international Jihad to drag out the rotten corpse of the Pan Islamism of Ottoman Empire from its grave. Such video trailers, released by its intelligence agencies, have also been circulating on social media. Until and unless the civilized world forces do not play their historical role to liberate the oppressed Sindhi, Baloch, Pashtun and Saraiki nations from the death cage of Pakistan; humanity would be enduring the fierce consequences of Islamic extremism and terrorism.

Today, as a representative of an oppressed nation I want to make it clear to the world that civilized world, Western Europe, USA, Japan and India could never be able to restore the global peace until and unless they do not prioritize the principal of international justice for the freedom of the oppressed nations by demolishing the imperial theocratic Punjabi federation (Pakistan). This is the one of the important points included in the Charter of United Nations Organization that “no any nation can enslave another nation.”

This is the era of the international democracy, international secularism and independence of the oppressed nations, hence I invite and appeal all the oppressed nations (Baloch, Pashtun and Sariaki) of my region chained in the forced integration of the federation of Pakistan, their intellectuals and pro-freedom political parties to unite to launch a joint struggle for the single cause of national freedom from the slavery of Punjabi imperialism and elimination of religious fundamentalism from the region, through disintegration of Pakistan. Because religious fundamentalism is being used as an imperialist tool by China-Punjab joint venture and Saudis for instability of secularist and democratic values of the civilized world. On the other hand, Pakistani fascist theocratic state is using it as a psychological tact against the freedom of the oppressed nations chained in its federation.

Therefore, it’s the inevitable need of the history and time that the oppressed Sindhi, Baloch, Pashtun and Saraiki nations must cooperate, support and unite from the grass root level of the mass struggle at the national grounds to international diplomatic forums, to present their case and raise their voice more efficiently on the national as well as international levels.

Let us unite to free ourselves from the chains of slavery of Punjabi imperialism and hoist our national flags on the flag place of free nations at UN.

Therefore, I, as a Chairman of Sindhi pro-freedom political party Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM), place this advice, proposal and invitation in front of the pro-freedom national parties, intellectuals and leaders of the oppressed Baloch, Pashtun and Saraiki nations aimed at assembling the political leadership of the oppressed nations on one table to discus and formulate the terms, conditions, modes, actions and points of the joint activism and agree upon a single alliance of the oppressed nations aimed to strive for their basic universal right to national freedom and to take a collective part in the international struggle for the elimination of religious fundamentalism, extremism and terrorism from the world.

The writer is chairman of the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM).
