Taliban bomb making factory busted in Balkh

AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Sunday said that Taliban’s bomb making facility was busted in northern Balkh province.

Intelligence operatives succeeded to discover and bust Taliban’s mine production center through a crackdown in Robat village of Chemtal district in Balkh province, said NDS.

Twomine makers were also arrested in the operation.

Some 12kg TNT explosives, two grenade bomb with gunpowder was discovered and seized by spy agency operatives as well.

Taliban planned to use mines made of the busted center for blowing up of crowded mosque during Eid days in Balkh province.
