AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Monday said that a Taliban commander was arrested with his two comrades in Laghman eastern province.
A press statement issued here, the NDS said that its operatives succeeded to arrest Taliban commander named Salamat Khan along with his two colleagues through an operation in Qarghai district of Laghman province.
The detained commander involved in different subversive activities and assassination of governmental figures in the district.
Two 82mm cannon, two mortar bullet with some other ammunition discovered and seized from captured insurgents.
