KABUL: Taliban fighters have shot and dead four members of a family in northern Balkh province on Tuesday night, official said Wednesday.
Fighters loyal to the Taliban group entered a house and opened fire on them, spokesman for ministry of defense Fawad Aman said. “The incident happened in Sholgara district of the province.”
“Unfortunately four members of the family, including three women and one man have been martyred in the shooting,” he added.
The reason behind the attack is yet to be cleared, but the Taliban killed four civilians at a time when their leaders are in Doha, the capital city of Qatar, carrying peace talks with the US top negotiators.
