Taliban suffer heavy casualties in Kunduz, Baghaln

At least 49 Taliban fighters were killed and 36 others wound during Afghan forces raid in northern Kunduz and Baghlan provinces in the past 24 hours, said officials.
During clashes and artillery attacks 34 insurgents including inelegance member of Taliban Qari Haroon, Qari Abdullah and Qari Yasin were killed in Aqbai, Pul-e-Kheshti and Bakhmal Kocha areas of Emam Sahib district in Kunduz province, said 209 Shaheen Army Corps Spokesman Hanif Rezaie.
He said that 29 other militants including Mula Salam Turkman a key commander of Taliban were wounded during clashes by Afghan forces in the district.
Two recruitment centers and three hideouts belonged to the enemy destroyed in the district as well, he added.
Also six Taliban fighters including AbozarLal Mohammad Zarqawee a Talban famous commander were killed during clashes by Afghan forces in Zarkharid area center of Kunduz and KhowajaPesta area of Khanabad district, he noted.
He said that three rebels were arrested by Afghan forces and handed over to related organs for further inquiry.
On the other hand nine Taliban fighters were killed during Resolute Support airstrike conducted in Jar-e-Khoshk and Golaie Haji Majeed area of Baghalan-e-Markazi district in Baghlan province, he underlined.
