Taliban’s deputy military commission killed in Helmand

KABUL: Deputy military commission of Taliban for southern Helmand province along with his eight fighters was killed in an airstrike conducted on Friday, officials said Saturday.

The Ministry of Defense said Mullah Amanullah was killed after the Afghan Air Forces (AAF) had targeted him in Nawa district of the province.

A large amount of weapons and ammunition of the enemy were also destroyed in the district, added statement.
