Terrorist attack survivors among top scorer in Kankor exam

Kabul: “Fateme Amiri” and “Hamidullah Gholamsakhi”, two of the survivors of the terrorist attack on “Kaj” education center are among the top scorers in Afghanistan’s national university entrance exam.

Fatemeh Amiri, who lost one of her eyes in a terrorist incident, scored 313 in this year’s entrance exam and was admitted to Kabul University’s Faculty of Computer Science.

After announcing the results, Amiri said, she planned to be in the top 10 of this year’s exam, to be proud and to study medicine with excellent grades.

Expressing his regret that girls are not among the top ten candidates of this year’s entrance exam, she stated that if the elite girls of Kaj had not been martyred and injured and suffered psychological damage, then the girls would have been among the top 10 candidates of the entrance exam.

Gholamsakhi, one of the other victims of the Kaj terrorist attack, also managed to enter Kabul University’s medical faculty with 341 marks.

“Mukhtar Madbar”, the teacher and head of Kaj education center, says that four of their students are among the top 10 students of this year’s entrance exam. According to Modbar, the 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th students of Afghanistan’s national entrance exam are Kaj students.

On the 30th of September, while there were only 11 days left for the national university exam in Afghanistan, a suicide attack took place at the Kaj educational center, as a result of which more than 60 students, mostly girls, were killed and more than 100 others were injured.
