Kabul: Iran’s ambassador in Kabul has said looking for a solution to Afghanistan’s problems outside the region will not help the current situation.
The special representatives of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries held meeting in Tashkent on Tuesday to review the current developments in Afghanistan and the mutual cooperation of the parties to regulate the situation in this country.
“Hasan Kazemi Qomi”, the special representative of the Iranian president to Afghanistan said that this meeting proves that the political, security and social developments of Afghanistan are important for the region.” According to him, the basic solution to Afghanistan’s problems and challenges lies in deepening regional cooperation, searching for a solution outside the region will not help the current situation.
He added: “The Afghan caretaker administration’s move towards the formation of an inclusive and reassuring government and protecting women’s rights will be welcomed by the regional countries.”
“The cooperation of the caretaker government with the countries of the region and neighbors is the best way out of the bottlenecks,” he said.
