Three militants detained in Zabul

AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Monday said that three terrorists were arrested in southern Zabul province.

According to a press statement issued here, the NDS operatives detained three terrorists, identified as Khudadad, Asghar Shah and Amir Shah during an operation in Shahr-e-Safa district of Zabul.

The detained terrorists were involved in different subversive activities including targeting logistic convoys, planting roadside landmines and armed ambushes on Zabul highways, added the statement.

One AK-47 was also recovered from the arrested the insurgents.
