Kabul: Taliban Ministry of Education announced that the charity foundation “IDF” of Turkey is going to build schools in five provinces of Afghanistan.
The memorandum of understanding for the construction of these schools was signed between Habibullah Agha Minister of Education of the Taliban, and Sheikh Mohammad Turan, the head of IDF.
In a newsletter published on Saturday by the Ministry of Education of Taliban, it is stated that the head of the ministry, while signing this memorandum, called the construction of five schools by the IDF charity foundation as a great action and thanked the institution.
According to the press release, the Turkish Foundation is going to build five religious schools in five provinces of Afghanistan based on this memorandum, where each school has four classes, a wall, a mosque and a drinking water system.
The cost of these schools is estimated at 25 thousand US dollars.
After the Taliban dominance in Afghanistan, the establishment and construction of religious schools in has increased, and in some provinces, these religious seminaries have replaced schools.
The Taliban government had previously announced that religious schools would be built in all provinces and districts.
