AT-KABUL: At least two civilian were killed and 13 others wounded after explosive devices went off at a Mazar-e-Sharif’s busy area of the northern Balkh province on Tuesday afternoon, provincial officials said.
The incident took place in the Police District 2 at around 12:50pm,” provincial spokesman Sher Jan Dorrani said, adding that the explosives were placed under a handcart.
Two people were killed and 13 others mostly civilians were wounded in the incident, the ministry of interior said in a statement.
The wounded people were taken to the nearby hospital and the inquiry started over the incident, statement added.
On the other hand, public health official to the media said that 15 wounded people transferred to the hospitals from the incident.
Till date no armed group including Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
