Kabul: Kiran Dekar, US Chargé d’Affaires of the US diplomatic mission to Afghanistan, wrote on Twitter that he has gone to Pakistan in the course of his talks regarding Afghanistan situation.
He wrote that during this trip, he will talk with Afghans living in Pakistan and will work together with them to support Afghans.
Mrs. Dekar did not provide more details in this matter, but currently, in addition to the former Afghan refugees in Pakistan, a number of Afghan citizens also went to this country after the re-establishment of the Taliban in Afghanistan, and most of them are waiting for the evacuation on the destination of their asylum.
Recently there were many reports on Afghan citizens, including women and children, being detained in Pakistani prisons over lack of residential documents.
Before this, Mrs. Dikar had traveled to Turkey and said that she had talked with Afghans and host officials there.
